   Beta testing will begin around 12pm EST. Sympo will most likely be the first of us to log in so he will post which test server he is on and what race we plan to focus our testing on. While everyone is having fun this weekend feel free to take screenshots and if possible video clips of anything you find interesting and worthy of a look. Videos can be uploaded to youtube.com and we will gladly share the link on our blog site.

   For the purpose of gathering as much info about the classes I believe Sympo and I will be trying all available classes over the weekend. I imagine others among us are eager to try out the class they intend to play on live. Hopefully they will provide us with the details of their experience throughout this weekend's beta.

   Have fun everyone, and remember: your girlfriend doesn't have to know this is a new MMO that you plan to dive deep into beyond salvation...

   agreed! ya as much info as you can possible attain would be great. Install fraps and capture video of anything/everything interesting!

   also I'm lucky...my girlfriend will be playing right alongside me :D woot!

   Downloading the patch amazingly fun. 24 kb/s is beyond fast. /sarcasm off
   Hopefully I'll be able to log on before Diablo 3 or Starcraft 2 comes out.

   I know how you feel, the DL took approx. 24hrs for me, but was able to log on and play for about 3 hours before the end of CB5. All together I really like the game, didn't get to experience a whole lot of PvP other than the occasional duel I would offer up. PvE was really really easy, there's really no thought into figuring the quests out and finding the different NPC's you need, I wish the PvE was a little higher on the difficulty scale. All in all I will most likely be quitting WoW to play Aion.
